Ceremony Flowers

topiaries

The flowers you select will set the tone for your wedding. They are the first decoration that your guest will see, and will be looking at the arrangements while they wait for the ceremony to begin. For an outdoor wedding, aisle topiaries such as the ones above can be used to line the aisle as you walk down to meet your groom. A great way to keep your budget down is to utilize flowers for the ceremony that can be transported to the reception as well.

Entry Way Decorations

Potted plants that are in season are a great option to line the steps of the church. This often forgotten area is the first thing your guest will see as they arrive.

kissing ball
The kissing ball, shown to the left, is another great way to decorate an entry way and greet guests as they enter. Another dramatic way to decorate an entry way is a large Luchia wreath which is shown on the right.

Indoor Ceremony Decorations

pew bows and altar pieces
The inside of the church can be decorated with altar pieces and pew bows. We use clips that will hook on without causing damage to the pews and can be transported to the reception to decorate the head table.

Colgate chapel decorated fireplace mantle chuppah
The altar at the Colgate Divinity Chapel is enhanced by a large bouquet that will move to the reception after the ceremony.
This fire place mantle lends itself to candles and flowers nicely.
The chuppah represents a Jewish couples first home.

Outdoor Ceremony Decorations

Gazebo picture

Gazebo decorated with flowers
Arches and other floral decorations are a great way to enchance a prexisting struture. The addition of flowers make these gazebos appear more formal and coordinate with your wedding colors.

Floral arch
Floral arches like the one to the left can be taken down after the ceremony and transported to the reception location to help keep your budget down.

When an existing struture such a gazebo is not available, floral arches can be constructed on garden arches and trellises to provide a focal point in photographs, and creates a lovely backdrop while you are exchanging your vows.

Bridal Pavillion Hurricane Globes Garden globe photo
Making a grand entrance at an outdoor ceremony can be a challenge. A great solution is the bridal pavillion pictured above, which is large enough for the bride and bridesmaids to stay out of the view of the guests until the ceremony begins. When it is time to start down the aisle the flaps are opened fully and frame you. The top bunting can be changed for your color choices.  The Hurricane globes above prevent your Unity candle from being blown out during an outdoor ceremony. The garden globes shown above are a wonderful way to mark the mothers' chairs and to add another dimension to your site design.
